My father began collecting these fossils during his childhood and later passed this fossil-collecting tradition on to me. I not only continued collecting fossils but also thoroughly examined each one, investigating their age, the species they belonged to, or the objects they represented. All these fossils were discovered in Eğil, a district in Diyarbakir, where I was born. These fossils are relatively easy to find, located near the surface, and have been identified as belonging to the Permian period.
